This week's Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week comes from North Delta. Delta police are calling upon the public to help them identify a safety goggle wearing bank robber. On Saturday, Oct. 1 at approximately 12: 40 p.m.

Delta police are calling upon the public to help them identify a safety goggle wearing bank robber.

On Saturday, Oct. 1 at approximately 12: 40 p.m., an unidentified male entered the TD Bank in the 8000-block of Scott Road with the intent to commit a robbery.

The robber approached a bank teller and demanded cash in a threatening manner. Once staff complied with his demands, he fled the bank in a westerly direction. He remains unidentified and still on the loose.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5'9" tall, 180 pounds with short brown hair. He has a predominate dimple in his chin and is clean-shaven. The suspect was wearing a beige jacket, clear safety goggles, a brown v-neck shirt, black pants and white shoes. He was also wearing yellow reflective shoulder straps.

If you have any information regarding the incident, contact Crime Stoppers anonymously. You could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 upon arrest and charge. You never will be asked your name or have to appear in court.
