A single-vehicle collision has closed a portion of Ladner Trunk Road Saturday night.
According to Delta Police, the collision resulted in minor injuries and knocked down a BC Hydro power, causing a significant power outage to approx. 1,000 residents in the area.
BC Hydro has been called to the scene to repair the damage.
Ladner Trunk Road is closed from 64th to 66th streets and a local detour is in effect using Holly Park Drive to the south.
Police say their is no cause yet of the collision and it is not yet known how long it will take for BC Hydro to make the repairs and when the road will be re-opened.
