South Delta realtors Caitlin Duffus and Colleen Almrud head RE/MAX Progroup Realty's Care Blanket Drive campaign that runs from Nov. 15-21. They will also be hosting a special drive-thru donation drop-off on Nov. 20 at their Tsawwassen office.

Ladner and Tsawwassen real estate offices will be collecting warm winter clothing for those in need as part of the 27th annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive, Nov. 15 to 21.

The initiative, is the largest and longest running blanket drive in the Lower Mainland. Since 1995, 427,000 people have received donations with more than 100 real estate offices participating. Among them is the locally-based RE/MAX Progroup Realty, with this year’s campaign headed by realtors Caitlin Duffus and Colleen Almrud.

“We donate to a long list of local charities in the greater Vancouver area. There are lots of great options for donations,” explained Duffus. “The less fortunate in our communities have been hit hard by COVID-19 and they need our help more than ever.”

Starting Monday, the following items will be accepted:

* Warm clothing (lightly used)

* Coats

* Blankets (lightly used)

* New socks

* New underwear

They can be dropped off weekdays at the RE/MAX Progroup office - 5360 12th Ave, Tsawwassen (next to the No. 2 Delta Firehall) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
