An open house was held at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre on Friday. The centre was promoting free demonstrations of several of its program offerings throughout the day. The arts centre had been under the management of the Delta Arts Council, but it's now under the management of the parks and recreation department. Also now under municipal management is the Firehall Centre for the Arts in North Delta. A grand opening will be held the Friday, Sept. 23 at that facility to highlight the programs and courses that will be offered there.
