The long weekend travel for many is off to a lousy start in Ladner.
Delta Police and Delta Fire are at the scene of a two car motor vehicle incident on Ladner Trunk Road and Highway 17A.
Single-lane eastbound traffic on Ladner Trunk leaving Ladner is being diverted to southbound 17A only.
There is no westbound access on Ladner Trunk from East Ladner, but the fire department and police are working quickly to clear the area.
There appears to be no serious injuries.

As of 12:15 p.m. there are just huge delays in traffic leaving Ladner.
