Vancouver Transit Police seize 70g of meth in targeted bus and station checks

Cash, cannabis and cocaine were also seized during the checks

The Metro Vancouver Transit Police seized varying amounts of cash, cannabis, cocaine and meth during a series of targeted checks at various transit stops.

Cash, cannabis and cocaine were among the items seized by transit police in a recent string of targeted bus and station checks.

Acting on intelligence and data, the Transit Police Enforcement Team carried on the checks on Tuesday (Feb. 8) along Main Street in Vancouver. The checks led to several arrests, including a man now charged with breaching his conditions and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

The Metro Vancouver Transit Police shared the results of checks in a photo on social media which showed $255 in cash, 1.52g of cannabis, 5.94g of cocaine, 14.86g of sold cocaine and 70.93g of methamphetamine.
