The following are some of the calls of interest the Delta police responded to in the South Delta area between Friday, March 2 and Monday, March 5:

Tsawwassen

. March 3, 2: 15 p.m., 1300-block of 56th Street: Security personnel at the store had a male in custody for shoplifting $170 worth of liquor. The suspect was observed hiding three bottles of liquor and then leaving the store. Suspect was arrested, chartered and a statement was taken. Still under investigation.

. March 4, 12: 08 a.m., 800-block of 50B Street: Upon returning home, the complainants noticed the house back door had been pried open. Missing were a computer, watch, cash and ID. Total value: $3,400. Area canvass negative. Still under investigation.

Ladner

. March 2, 5: 35 p.m., 4600-block of 64th Street: A late report of a stolen wallet was received. The complainant's library card had been used and incurred several late fees. Wallet was stolen back in October 2011.

. March 4, 8: 46 p.m., 4600-block of Clarence Taylor Crescent: Complainant reported that while her vehicle was parked, $250 in cash, a Visa card, and a debit card were stolen. As there was no evidence of entry damage, it was possible the vehicle keys, left in an open locker, were used. No suspects. No witnesses.

. March 5, 2: 26 p.m., 4700-block of Clarence Taylor Crescent: Complainant reported her purse left under the driver's seat of her locked vehicle was stolen. There was evidence of tool damage to front passenger door frame. Several transactions were made locally on her credit cards totaling $270. All cards were cancelled.

. March 5, 4: 35 p.m., 7700-block of Progress Way: It was reported that three service vehicles had been tampered with and all had gas siphoned. Fuel stolen: $300. Damage to door lock: $100. Video surveillance was being examined. Neighbouring business enquiries were negative.
