The clock ran out for one heritage farm home Monday while the clock is ticking on another just down the road. This week a demolition crew tore down the Friesen residence at 6721 Ladner Trunk Rd.

Driver collides with police cruiser in Ladner

A woman is facing possible charges after she collided with a police car over the weekend in Ladner. At around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, an on-duty officer was driving an unmarked police car in the 4600-block of River Road West.

Suspicious fire in Ladner

Both the Delta police and fire departments responded to a suspicious fire in Ladner Monday night. Just before 11:30 p.m., a man reported his black GMC pickup truck was fully engulfed by fire and he saw someone fleeing the scene.
