Teagan Douglas has backstopped Team B.C. to a perfect run at Canadian Lacrosse’s Alumni Cup U15 national field lacrosse championships in Fredericton, NB.

Team B.C. rolled off seven consecutive wins, including a 13-5 triumph over Ontario in Sunday’s gold medal game. Earlier victories came against New Brunswick (21-1), Quebec (18-0) Ontario (9-6), Manitoba (11-1), Saskatchewan (12-3) and Nova Scotia (13-0).

Douglas, a Grade 9 student at South Delta Secondary School, has come up through the Delta Footmen field lacrosse program and has been playing in goal since he was seven. He was the lone Delta player to make the final Team B.C. roster following an extensive tryout process that wrapped earlier this year.

The Footmen season is about to get underway with teams being part of the Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse League.
