One team going nowhere and the other fighting for their playoff lives.

That was the scenario on Tuesday night at the Ladner Leisure Centre and the Delta Ice Hawks did their part to help the North Vancouver Wolf Pack's push for a post-season berth in the Pacific International Junior Hockey League.

The Ice Hawks, who are cemented in second place, roared back from a two goal deficit to take a lead into the third period, only to surrender a pair of goals in a 5-4 loss. The result gave the visitors a three point lead over Grandview for the final playoff spot in the Tom Shaw Conference.

Anthony Brito scored twice in a losing cause, while Spencer Traher added a goal and an assist to increase his lead atop the PIJHL scoring race to six points. Cody Fidgett also scored.
