The Delta Islanders are moving on to the second round of the B.C. Junior "A" Lacrosse League playoffs after a 15-10 win over the Langley Thunder on Monday.

The Delta Islanders are moving on to the second round of the B.C. Junior "A" Lacrosse League playoffs after a 15-10 win over the Langley Thunder on Monday.

Delta's Logan Schuss and Mike Mallory each had three goals and four assists while Michael Berekoff scored four goals in the win.

The Islanders trailed 5-4 after the first period at the Langley Events Centre but rallied back in the second with seven tallies.

Delta took the best-ofthree opening round series 2-0, winning the opener 1310 in Ladner on Saturday night.

The Islanders will now face the New Westminster Salmonbellies in the second round.

The best-of-five series is scheduled to open tonight in New Westminster with Game 2 set for Saturday at the Ladner Leisure Centre at 8 p.m.
