Keegan Kozack was one of just two unanimous selections to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team after leading Canisius College in scoring this season.

Keegan Kozack has capped an outstanding freshman season of NCAA men’s field lacrosse by being named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie team.

The 19-year-old from Ladner led the Canisius College Griffins in goals with 19 in 10 games. He was one of just two players that was a unanimous selection.

The Griffins’ season ended with a 10-5 loss to Manhattan College last Tuesday in the MAAC semi-finals. Kozack was among the Canisius goal scorers.

The attack player earned a scholarship to the Buffalo, New York campus after an impressive run at Blue Ridge, a private boarding school in St. George, Virginia that is noted for its field lacrosse program.

He captained the senior varsity team in his grade 11 and 12 years.
