There was even more South Delta flavour factoring into the success of the provincial U16 girls field hockey program this past summer.
A story in Wednesday's Optimist recognized the efforts of five players who played for B.C. at the nationals, includig the trio of Cailean Meredith, Cassidy Bremner and Krista Jensen who were recently named to the Canadian U16 team.
Another Falcon, Laura Paterson, was a valuable member of the B.C. White squad that won the silver medal.
