Delta Pacer legend Navi Sekhon will be a special guest coach at the upcoming Split Second Basketball spring camp at Delta Secondary. Sekhon led the Pacers to a rare provincial tournament berth back in 1993.

Split Second Basketball will be hosting one of their popular camps over spring break at Delta Secondary School.

Split Second Basketball was launched in Vancouver in 2010 by former UBC standout Eric Butler.

After finishing an eight-year stint playing professional basketball in Europe and starting a career with Delta Fire and Rescue, Butler decided it was time to return to coaching and give back to the sport he loved.

“I had three young kids at the time who were getting to the right age to start playing basketball,” explained Butler. “I put them in a couple of basketball programs and didn’t find any of them did an adequate job of teaching and reinforcing good habits, or of helping kids develop confidence and character. I knew we could build something better.”

The last eight years have seen Split Second consistently grow its reputation for excellence.

“We now have programs seven days a week in Vancouver. We are really excited to be able to offer this camp in Delta,” added Butler.

Delta Pacers’ legend and fellow fire fighter Navi Sekhon will be joining Butler and the other coaches at the camp which runs March 19-22. The camp will have options for players in Grades 3-6 and Grades 7-9.Full information can be found at www.splitsecondbasketball.com or by emailing Les@splitsecondbasketball.com.
