It was a triumphant weekend across the Fraser River for the U14 Delta Coastal Selects girls soccer team.
Playing up at the U15 level, the Metro squad went undefeated to take top honours at the 28th annual Richmond F.C. Thanksgiving Tournament.
The girls capped their impressive run with a hard-fought win over the Kamloops Blaze in their final game.
They played outstanding soccer throughout the weekend to become well-deserved champions.
The team includes: Ajeet Dhami, Alecia Palmer, Arhya Monger, Caidynn Veitch-Planzer, Ella Bedard, Faith Burden, Faye Beatty, Freya Millar, Juanita Pavi, Kate Heindrichs, Laighton Muller, Mya Thompson, Nora Pjetrushi, Payton Kilpatrick, Presley Ashdown, Sidney Smith and Sophia Valcamp.
