U14 Stealth crowned U14 league cup champions

South Delta Stealth Selects captured their U14 Group in BC Coastal Soccer League Cup play.

South Delta Stealth Selects captured their group in the B.C. Coastal Soccer League Cup playdowns with a 1-0 win over Port Coquitlam in the championship game played on Sunday at Newton Athletic Park.

The Stealth secured its spot in the final by finishing in top spot after five weeks of group playdowns. The girls took a 1-0 lead into the second half, buckled down and worked together to hold onto the well-deserved victory. The triumph culminates months of training that began in late summer.

The team has also clinched a spot in this weekend’s South Fraser District Cup finals which will be hosted by South Delta.

Coached by Baloo Dosanjh and Madi Wells, the Stealth roster features: Raeya Dosanjh, Julia Fechter, Rachel Rosser, Caitlyn Nakagawa, Ella Arnold, Isabella Granger, Priya Kaila, Anita van Wieringen, Annise Gill, Paisley Reid, Morgan Hope, Madison Weist, Grace Grannary Ally Nelson, Amy Haverstock and Claire van Breeman.
