ABC's Big Sky series comes to Ladner

The 4500 block of Arthur Drive has become a piece of Montana for at least a couple of days.

David E. Kelly’s new crime thriller Big Sky is shooting in one of the heritage homes on the Ladner road with production expected to wrap up by Thursday night. The ABC TV series stars Ryan Phillipe (Cody Hoyt), Kylie Bunbury (Cassie Dewell) and Katheryn Winnick (Jenny Hoyt).

Dewell and Cody Hoyt are private detectives that join forces with his estranged wife Jenny Hoyt to search for two sisters that have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote Montana Highway. They later discover they are not the only girls that have disappeared in the area.

The series is will make its debut on Nov. 17. The entire production is taking place in the Lower Mainland with shooting expected to wrap-up in January.
