For the third time this week, a Delta resident has won a significant B.C. lottery prize.

BCLC reported Thursday afternoon that Yan-li Wu won $50,000 on a Big Money scratch & win ticket.

The Delta resident purchased the winning ticket at the Aberdeen Centre in Richmond and decided to check her ticket after finishing some grocery shopping.

“I couldn't believe it. I tried to keep quiet since I didn't want to draw a lot of attention,” said Wu. “It wasn't until I got home that I realized that I was winner.”

On how it feels to win, Wu explains, “it feels amazing. I’m grateful and thankful for being a winner.”

Other winners this week included Peter Gibb who won $100,000 on a High Aces scratch & win ticket and Jolene Keith who won the secondary prize in the April 20th Daily Grand drawing.
