Back to School program benefits from community generosity

“We have good people in Delta.”

We often hear this in our community and it’s true!

The Delta School District is offering thanks to one of its Port Guichon Elementary parents who very kindly donated 100 backpacks for the district’s Back to School program.

The district has filled these backpacks, plus others provided at a discount from Nike with useful items from local retailers including gift cards, shoe laces and keychains from Tsawwassen Mills and coupons from Claire’s, Boston Pizza, Urban Planet, Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop and South St. Burger.
