The Delta Chamber of Commerce is seeking local business people to take advantage of a new program.

One of the most common challenges of a business owner/manager is isolation so the chamber created a pilot project that established peer-to-peer roundtables to provide support and coaching in a confidential setting.

The pilot program was a resounding success so the chamber is now ready to expand the program to include more roundtables, which have eight to 10 participants.

There are no competing businesses in a group and only one member per company can be in a group. Meetings are arranged every four to six weeks and generally last three hours.

Unlike a networking group, members of the roundtable do not exchange leads or business referrals. Instead, they provide positive feedback and ongoing support for both business growth and personal issues.

Deadline for applications is Wednesday, Jan. 30. The roundtables are anticipated to start on Feb. 13. See www.deltachamber.ca for more details.
