Delta residents raise nearly $3,500 for KidSport

Delta residents helped raise nearly $3,500 last month to help financially under-privileged kids participate in team sports.

In all, 41 Triple O’s locations across B.C. were involved in the ninth-annual KidSport Day fundraiser, including locations on Ladner Trunk Road and Scott Road in Delta.

A loonie from the sale of every combo sold on Sept. 28 was donated to KidSport BC – a community‐based sports funding program that believes all kids, regardless of their financial situation, deserve to learn valuable life skills by joining a sports team. Over $80,000 was raised in total.
