And with 165 years of experience in the garment care industry, they can certainly back up those guarantees ensuring their cleaning methods are the most effective and safest available to help prolong the life of your clothes and garments.

Originally from Kitzingen, Germany, Johann Valentin Wagner founded the family enterprise in 1841 when he opened a fabric and garment dyeing business.

Today, Elisabeth and her son Frank (he’s the fourth generation) continue the family tradition in Canada by operating Wagner’s European Fabricare, a full-service dry cleaning establishment with two locations (one in Tsawwassen and one in the Tilbury Industrial Park).

After many years at their Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall location, Wagner’s recently made the move across the street next to the Ocean Palace Restaurant.

“Our lease was up and we only had the opportunity for a short-term rental,” said Elisabeth. “We needed to find some security in our future plans for the business.”

With more than 24 years in Tsawwassen, she said the trust their customers have in their business is truly appreciated.

“The opportunity to find another location with parking right in front is quite rare in Tsawwassen, so we moved,” she said. “Our valued customers followed us and that makes me very happy. We are offering a wide variety of services, and most recently we added blind cleaning. We still do alterations, and we also pick up from your home, which comes in handy for many of our customers.”

Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wagner’s European Fabricare is located at 108–1077–56th St. Call 604-943-3030.
