Two in the running for Small Business BC awards

Two Delta-based businesses are among the nominees for a 2015 Small Business BC Award.

Amando Natural Stone has been nominated for three awards - Best Company, Best Immigrant Entrepreneur and Best International Trade, while Terra International Foods is also nominated for the Best International Trade Award.

Entrepreneur Karina Eva, who immigrated to Canada from Mexico, founded Amando Natural Stone in 2009 with the goal of collaborating with construction professionals to bring

Mexico's handcrafted natural ornamental and architectural stonework to Canada. Terra International Foods is a leading importer/distributor and brand builder that represents a number of the world's specialty, natural-organic and mainstream grocery brands.
