Delta police say 72nd Street between Ladner Trunk Road and Churchill Street near the Boundary Bay Airport has reopened following a serious accident involving a CN freight train and a truck yesterday afternoon.
The accident occurred on the tracks at 3:20 p.m. Saturday when the train smashed into the Smithrite Disposal truck. The truck flipped over and the driver was killed. The road was closed for several hours and the B.C. Corners Service were at the scene to investigate. We'll have more on this story.
