The Delta Police traffic unit had quite the day in Tsawwassen Thursday morning.
In another Thursday targeted enforcement campaign, officers were out on 56th St. in Tsawwassen looking for speeders, distracted drivers, and drivers with questionable driving habits.
“We told the traffic unit Twitter followers that they would be on 56th St. After being there for 10 minutes and ticketing four drivers for speeding, the traffic unit sent out another message. Why does the DPD tell drivers where targeted enforcement will take place on Thursday's? Because we believe that knowing promotes safe driving habits," police said in a Facebook post.
The department's traffic unit Twitter can be found here.
Here we are on 56th today. Special thanks to this lovely woman who pulled over even though it wasn't her car that was speeding. Please slow down and pay attention. pic.twitter.com/AVYzFMRKkt
