Did you know Delta police has a Patrol Support Team, made of officers who supplement the work of our patrol and traffic officers?
One of the areas that team has been focusing on lately is stopping excessive speeders. That’s because speed is one of the leading causes of crashes.
This past week officers pulled over a number of vehicles on Highway 17 doing more than 50 to 60 km over the speed limit – like this BMW motorcycle (pictured).
All of those vehicles were impounded and the drivers were served with excessive speed tickets.
