Delta has been included in a fog advisory from Environment Canada.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop,” a statement reads.
Conditions are expected to improve somewhat this afternoon.
“A strong inversion over the south coast has trapped an extensive area of fog over the Strait of Georgia. Fog has moved onshore at many locations near the Strait and is reducing visibilities,” the statement explains.
Drive BC issued a reminder today to motorists to turn their head and tail lights during foggy conditions.
⚠️Your head & tail lights should be on⚠️
