Residents may soon be able to enjoy a Teen Burger, onion rings and a frosty mug of root beer in Ladner.
Delta council Monday night gave the green light to send a proposal for an A&W drive-thru restaurant and adjacent storage facility near the interchange of Ladner Trunk Road and Highway 99 to a public hearing.
The hearing is set for Monday, Dec. 9 at city hall in Ladner.
The site, adjacent to the Tim Hortons/Esso gas station complex, had previously been used as nursery but is now vacant.
The Burns Drive application has been in the works for the past year. The proposal includes a one-storey restaurant and three-storey storage facility with office use.
