Ladner Legion hosting Remembrance Day parade and service

The Royal Canadian Legion branch in Ladner will once again host the South Delta Remembrance Day parade and service. The parade steps off from the Legion on Delta Street at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov.

A procession will leave the Ladner Legion en route to Memorial Park for a service at the cenotaph on Remembrance Day.

The Royal Canadian Legion branch in Ladner will once again host the South Delta Remembrance Day parade and service.

The parade steps off from the Legion on Delta Street at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 and will march to the cenotaph at Memorial Park for the 10:45 a.m. ceremony.

The ceremony starts when all the parade participants have arrived.

When the ceremony is over, they will march back to the Legion where there will be another small ceremony with speeches from local dignitaries.

Following that, the Legion will be open to the public serving up great food and drink from the kitchen and bar as well as musical entertainment from Steel Rail with Rick Leather.
