Delta's extreme weather shelter will be open until Saturday morning due to cold temperatures.
The shelter is located at the Ladner United Church, 4960-48th Ave. It is available from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The shelter offers a warm place to sleep, hot food and drink, a chance to dry off clothes and utilize a shower facility for those in need in both South and North Delta.
