DPD public affairs coordinator Cris Leykauf said due to concerns over public safety, police blocked off a portion of the street.

A police K9 was also called in.

“Fortunately, the matter has now been safely resolved, and no one was injured during the incident,” said Leykauf, adding no arrests were made and one person was taken to hospital.

She said police are still investigating and could say if a weapon was involved in the incident.
