A Richmond woman has made an impassioned plea for the return of her dog, Pablo, who has been missing for a month.

Meagan Adams thinks someone in the city may be looking after her five-month-old Chihuahua mix and has not seen her pleas on social media.

Adams said she was outside of her workplace picking up coffee for a staff meeting when Pablo came running from her office on Alderbridge and Elmbridge ways to look for her.

It appears that he ran towards River Road, then to the Olympic Oval area, where he was last spotted at 6 p.m. on May 10.

Adams said Pablo is generally scared of people and will run away unless hungry.

“I love him like my own son, and I miss him dearly.  We spent every day, all day together, he came with me to work and on walks and I was preparing him to go on hikes with me,” she said.

“I miss him so much and I cannot stop thinking about him and worrying if he is ok.

“I hired Al from petsearchers, but had no luck in finding him.  I have put up a reward for his safe return, no questions asked.

“I don’t care what happened I just need him back with me.”
