*May 5, 12:46 p.m., 100 Block of Ferry Causeway: Police were called to two people causing a disturbance outside of the foot passenger terminal. The two were attempting to purchase tickets to walk onto the ferry but narrowly missed the sailing. One man had argued the boat should be held, but was cooperative when police arrived on scene. Both parties were banned for the day from BC Ferries property.

*May 6, 12:48 p.m., 4900 Block Canoe Pass Way: Complainant reported she had observed a dog left in a vehicle in the Tsawwassen Commons parking lot for at least 10 minutes. It was a sunny day and 18 degrees. Police arrived and located the vehicle with all windows partially rolled down. Police reached in the car and believed the internal temperature not to be critical and did not force entry. Police requested store staff page customers requesting the owner of a white SUV to step outside and speak with police about leaving their dog inside their vehicle. Shortly after the owner emerged and disagreed that she had made an error in judgement. Police explained that while her dog was not in distress that her actions had caused police and bylaws to be dispatched and left a vehicle insecure, potentially also causing future calls in regards to theft from auto. The owner then conceded that she made an error in judgement and apologized.

*May 6, 11:38 p.m., 5100 Block of 11A Ave.: Police attended a residence following a noise complaint. The bike is described as a Norco Bigfoot Mountain bike, black and orange in colour. Approximate value of $300.

*May 9, 10:28 a.m., 300 Block Centennial Parkway: Complainant called police reporting a theft from auto.
