Jack McCallum, pictured with his wife Myrtle, is the proprietor of the new Sun God movie theatre in Tsawwassen celebrating his grand opening. Movie theatres are now a thing of past in Delta. They weren’t even deemed viable for the new malls to have them.
However, movie theatres in general are not an endangered species. According to Variety, the domestic box office hit a new high-water mark of $11.5 billion and global revenues also have a chance of reaching new heights by the end of this year.
