Tsawwassen Loop Facebook group member Steve Hawkins had an unexpected backyard visitor.
Hawkins posted a video to the group today of a Great Blue Heron in his Beach Grove backyard, having a look around before spreading its wings and flying off.

"Look who just dropped in," the post read, which used the hashtag #backyardbirding among others.
