This is one of my favourite Halloween photos of me from a few ago!

When the bright green leaves start to turn crispy and brittle, and the watermelons at the front of Save-On-Foods are replaced by oversized gourds and pumpkins (Seriously, they are huge.) you might want to reconsider wearing shorts and put on a jacket because FALL IS HERE! I am currently sitting on our porch in our papasan wrapped in a Hudson Bay blanket and eating candy corn because I couldn't think of a better way to honour my favourite season. You can’t get more autumnal than that! Fall is great with all its pumpkins and pies, but what makes it even better is Halloween! How can you not love Halloween? Halloween is one of my favourite days of the year for many reasons! I can dress up in the most ridiculous costume without people thinking I’m a full blown weird!  Pumpkin carving, decorating, AND the candy!  Don’t forget the candy! I always get a truckload (I may or may not be exaggerating a bit). Did you know that ninety percent of parents will steal from their kids Halloween candy stash? Every year my parents try to make me trade my stash for a present, but the deals have been getting really cheap in the last year or so. Two years ago the deal was that I got something for twenty dollars, and still got to keep twenty five candies, but last year I got something for around ten dollars and my parents only let me keep ten candies. So the question still remains, my parents deal on candy? Should I or shouldn’t I?  Oh and by the way, are you aware there is something creeping up behind you?

P.S. Bet I made you look! ;)
