Here's my take on the Canadian border is allowing Point Roberts residents into Tsawwassen.

The ferry to Fairhaven (Bellingham) was introduced (falsely) claiming it would solve Point Roberts residents' access to goods and services problems. It is now being terminated. So, the U.S. Government has a problem with goods and services being available to our isolated residents. .  It leans on Canada to solve access to goods and service problems by getting them to allow us to go to Tsawwassen.

It stymied me at first when (Canadian Border Services) said they will allow unvaccinated people (into Canada) which defies science and all logic of both countries. But, they have to allow ALL Point Roberts people access for this to work or it would be labelled discrimination. So they have ended up going against their own science and protocols in an attempt to claim they are considerate of Point Roberts. They are not! Had they followed the fire chief’s and our suggestions four months ago they would be much further ahead with a sensible safe program that truly serves the people and vacationers to Point Roberts. Politics, BLAH!
