Congratulations to Nic Slater on his acclamation. It's good to see the New Democrats will run a strong candidate.
It remains to be seen who his opponents will be.
If Vicki Huntington remains standing as an independent and John Cummins opts for his natural constituency, I imagine there will be at least one Tory elected.
If Huntington jumps to the Tories and Cummins dares to venture into another pool of voters, I dare to imagine like-wise.
Perhaps their decision will depend on the winds of the HST referendum and whether the consulted electorate deems the punishment of the so-called Liberals to be sufficient.
Those of us who were disenfranchised through the misfortunes of Canada Post will be voting in the old-fashioned way in any case.
