Delta set precedent for recovering policing costs when it sent bill to Tsawwassen First Nation

Chief Jim Cessford estimates the bill could be as high as $140,000. Good news, Delta taxpayers, you're off the hook as mayor and council have already set a precedent.

A few years back the Tsawwassen First Nation held a music festival and was billed for uninvited police presence.

The Canucks have earned mega millions on this Stanley Cup run, so should they receive free policing? If so, the TFN is due a refund.

Or do we discriminate against our neighbours?
