I have never written a letter to the paper, but I felt the unbelievable service/ compassion received from a local business warranted kudos.
My 83-year-old mother, a longtime resident of both Ladner and North Delta, passed away in May of this year. Prior to her death she made her final arrangements with Delta Funeral Home.
I have never been in the position to deal with/plan/ execute a funeral, and most especially with how upset I/my family was at the time of her passing. These people were amazing.
Now I know they deal with these types of situations daily, and it is their job, but we all feel they were exceptional in their execution.
From our initial contact until the final bill was paid, they were kind, considerate and extremely respectful of what our family wanted.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
