The Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation was founded in 1988 as the philanthropic arm of Delta Hospital and is dedicated to raising funds through the charitable giving sector to support the hospital’s most critical needs. Through the generous support of our community, we have raised over $50 million. The Delta Optimist has been with us the entire way.
As our media sponsor, the Delta Optimist provides us with a valuable mechanism to communicate to our community and to share information of how our dedicated supporters can assist us to fund the most critical needs.
In recent years we have seen a shift to a more digital world and because of this, the way we fundraise has changed dramatically. Many of our donors are now connecting with us through digital channels. However, reaching others in our community that are not as digitally driven means we also rely on the weekly delivery of the Delta Optimist.
Through both their newsstand and household deliveries as well as utilizing the Optimist’s digital platforms, we are able to celebrate the amazing work that goes on in the hospital on a daily basis by our dedicated healthcare professionals. We are also able to share how our donors’ generous support positively impacts the work they do.
The Delta Optimist is the voice of Delta and they are our partner in ensuring our community has access to outstanding healthcare close to home.
