Letters: A bigger meaning of freedom and democracy

I believe our veterans had a much bigger meaning of freedom and democracy

Another resident is taking issue with some of the comments in a recent Community Comment column in the Optimist.

Re: Community Comment (Optimist, Nov. 4)

Mr. Sherwin's last line of his column, isn't that what our veterans fought for. I would answer that line with, yes they did fight for our freedom, however, that freedom, as I see it, was not meant to jeopardize other lives or to be a party of or the cause of enhancing that process in a world-wide crises.

I believe our veterans had a much bigger meaning of freedom and democracy.
