Letters: A farewell to Marina Gardens

It is timely therefore to record my families thanks to the neighbourhood of Marina Gardens for the friendship and unfailing kindness I have enjoyed.

Editor:

At the end of March I downsized and left my home of 26 years. It is timely therefore to record my families thanks to the neighbourhood of Marina Gardens for the friendship and unfailing kindness I have enjoyed.

During the working years of myself and my late wife, Margaret, the corner of Clipper and Galleon was a space for gardening, family entertainment and after work recreation.

During Margaret’s 20 months of in-home palliative care in 2013/14, we received many, many acts of kindness from the community and in the Village of Ladner.

We also acknowledge the wonderful support from Fraser Health’s Homecare service and Margaret’s many friends at that time.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the ever friendly businesses in Ladner Village.

I hope that the new owners of 5628 Clipper will enjoy their new home and the wonderful community.
