We were recently enjoying our first beach day at Centennial, Boundary Bay Regional Park. Because one of our friends is in a power wheelchair we went to the end of the blue accessibility boardwalk and set up on the side while she remained on one side of the boardwalk. A couple came walking down passing her and the young man told her off about being in the way.
We were all very upset and she says that it happens all the time!
This shouldn't be happening. Isn't the boardwalk for wheelchairs and not so much for able-bodied people?
