I just wanted to say thanks to the editor for the great job that you are doing in your “not so new” role with the paper and for how the Optimist has served to connect families during the times of COVID-19.
Our family reads both the on-line and “hard copy” versions (I have a daughter living in Maple Ridge and one living in Paris, France)....the entire family likes to keep up to date with the news and articles that are posted/printed within the Optimist. My daughters are quick to tell me of events/reporting that I may have missed. The paper has, and continues to provide, good family discussion and community connection during these times when individuals have been separated due to the pandemic.
