My wife was almost run over by an inconsiderate rider of an electric bike when walking our dog early Saturday, April 9 on the foot path beside Ladner Trunk Road between 62 and 64 Street.

Although there is a clearly marked bicycle path running along this stretch of Ladner Trunk, this teenager rode his bike with high speed without warning on the pedestrian path. Had my wife stepped in his path accidentally, never hearing his bikes silent approach, she would have been seriously injured by the speeding biker.

He took off at high speed without an apology. This is the second biker incident for her on this stretch of foot path.
