Letters: Questioning the new recycling rules

I think someone should give their head a shake
recycling

Editor:

I took my recyclables over to the depot along with the new milk cartons you can now recycle.

I happily sorted the different products out. When I was through, I moved them over to have them approved for payment. Now I find out that milk cartons are not all equal in the world of recycling.

If your carton happens to say cream on it, that is not acceptable, although it is in the same type of container as the one that has milk on it.

So, I’d like the provincial government to tell me why? The only difference I can see is that one container might have more cream in it than the other one, but how will that matter as the containers are empty.

I think someone should give their head a shake.
