Letters: Saved by neighbours and strangers in Ladner

Thank-you all for your kindness. There is a happy ending to this story.
Thank you letter

Without the help of passersby, neighbours, the animal shelter and those kind-hearted guys from the work yard off River Road, this story could have had a very tragic ending.

A dog was being rehomed from the Interior to a local family and was just settling in but somehow he got out of the fenced yard. The only identification to his new home was a label with a phone number and his name, which he was still learning.
Thank goodness for the help of a passerby who saw this dog running loose and who took the time to catch him and then tried to notify the owners, eventually taking him to the animal shelter.

We began searching for him as did other neighbours.

While he was being surrendered to the shelter, he escaped again, but ran into a gated area with workers, and fenced off area and caught the attention of one of the men who, again, wooed him into his trailer. He took the time to shower the very hot pooch off and make the phone call to one happy owner who then was madly on the way to pick up the pooch and bring him safely home.

Thank-you all for your kindness. There is a happy ending to this story.
