Letters: So much for buying local gas

Editor: So last week I was in Richmond, and noted gas prices were between $1.249 and $1.269 and all full serve. I returned to Tsawassen at 2:30 p.m. to find they were $1.

So last week I was in Richmond, and noted gas prices were between $1.249 and $1.269 and all full serve.

I returned to Tsawassen at 2:30 p.m. to find they were $1.359, and all the stations are almost always selling at the same prices, and all are self-service.

So much for competition and being encouraged to buy locally, at least as far as gas is concerned.
