In reply to the letter of Ivan Filippov (Optimist, Feb. 18)
When the right to die was brought forward to the facility in Ladner, I really think if the board in charge at the time had taken the religious factor out of the equation and looked at it as a right of the person or persons involved to make that decision, and not taking anything away from anyone's religious beliefs, I think this whole mess could have be resolved without the need to call someone ignorant or bloodthirsty, as you so eloquently put it in your letter to the editor of the Optimist.
